Our Story
For over 13 years, we have gathered in downtown Boise every Saturday at Ann Morrison Park to serve warm meals to the unhoused and hungry.

This journey began through our church, True North, but after it closed, many volunteers moved on. Ezekiel and I (Michelle) also tried to step away, but God had other plans. We are still here, serving our friends.

Feeding Our Friends is a self-funded ministry, relying solely on the kindness of our community.

Through this mission, we’ve met incredible people and built lasting friendships with those struggling to get by. While we believe in a biblical and moral responsibility to serve, our motivation is simple: love.

Each Saturday, we serve home-cooked meals, fresh fruit, desserts, and seasonal drinks; cold in summer, hot in winter.

When available, we also provide clothing, toiletries, blankets, dog food, and first aid kits. Some we serve have shelter, while others sleep in cars or outdoors.

We don’t aim to replace shelters but to help those who fall through the cracks—offering not just food, but dignity, kindness, and hope.

This mission continues because of you—our generous community.

Your Generosity + Our Mission = Real Change for Those in Need.

❤️ Together, we can make a difference.
